h4 EAD expires
Is There anyone know if you could be put on unpaid leave if your h4 EAD expires and then back to work after receiving new card? I am concerning if I have to quit my current job and the rehiring proceess is uncertainty. It does not seems like USCIS could process the i-765 in 6 months.

Yes, I’m currently on unpaid leave waiting for my EAD as well.

There won't be any issue when interviewing on the green card? What about the benefits? Is It still be fine to be covered by company medicial insurance?

Unpaid leave shouldn’t be a problem. Do some research on it, you might get more info. You’re not working and you’re not getting paid. For the benefits, that would likely depend on your employer.

Thanks so much. I am just so anxious on getting my new card in time and keep my job. I submitted 2 ER and both get denied.

I am on unpaid leave too, or 'admin leave' - not working or being paid until I go back. I am in TSC and PD was Feb 4th 2021.

Hoping and believing it’ll work out for us. Hang in there!

Hope the h4 premium process will come out ASAP and we don't need to worry about h4 ead renewal anymore. It's a nightmare never goes away.
