H4 Approval and Pending EB2 NIW Application
Hi everyone!
My H4 (not with H4 EAD) just got approved last week but I still have a pending EB2 NIW application. Is this normal and is there any advice on what I can do legally on my current H4 Status?

I'm also on my h4. without H4 EAD you cannot work. I received my EB2 I765 last week. now I can legally work

I also have a H4 without EAD, also waiting for EB2 NIW. You can’t work and you can’t study. You can do voluntary work, or learn crafts or things like that, that won’t give you a diploma. And of course wait 😵💫 for your EAD (if you applied for it with your NIW) and your GC

I have my EAD already from the EB2NIW. Since I’m on H4 would I be able to use it to work?

Does that void the H4 if I use it work? Asking this just in case unfortunately my petition gets denied.

@Pete E, you’re not the principal so it doesn’t matter. If for any reason your application is rejected, you can apply for an H4 if your partner has an H1B (they’re the ones who can’t use the EAD, if you want to keep the H status).
