Guys, it's frustrating, need some help for my questions.
applied for vawa on July 9th 2021. received my prima facie within 2 weeks of applying. I did my biomatrics on Nov 24th 2021 and I got my Combo card on Feb 2022. received 3 prima facie after that. most recent update was my last prima facie Jan 16 2023.
- Anyone has a same timeline like mine??
- Did anyone traveled outside with your advance parole if yes how was the experience? any the problem when you reenter the states?
-Anyone traveled to India with Vawa parole?
- while I am waiting for my approval I filed a divorce under mutual consent because my wife agreed to that without any problem.
All responses are highly appreciated.

My case was sent even earlier than yours and I only received my ead, but NO advanced parole(just work permit, no combo card), and I only received 2 prima facies and my prima facie expired last January 24th and I have no clue what's going on...no update so far!

same timeline, received my 3rd prima facie on Jan 31st. I received my combo in December 2022, kinda scared to use it but planning to travel soon to Africa.

I have almost exactly like your. I applied July 7th, got combo card in February and same with the prima facie letter. I travelled to my home country December 2022 and I got back to the U.S on February 2023. I had no problems. They will just take you yo second verification in a little room. it took around 15 min for me. No questions asked and released. Good luck on your journey!

@Celina Jones do you need to have any good reason to apply to advance parole ?
Carla SMar 9, 2023
@santiago Alvarez if it is been a long time you haven’t seen your family, yes, it is a good reason.
My father is 82 and my mom is 70. I didn’t want to wait for green card to see them since I had Advanced Parole available to me. However, I would not go travel for leisure on Advanced Parole. Also, I would not use Advanced Parole if my case was too far ahead to get a resolution because if it is denied (I don’t think it will but what if) and I am out of country, I would not be able to get back to the United States so soon.

hi k y I filed in July 2021 received prima facie and rfe dec next they told me my fingerprint was taken in Jan 2022 and April 2022 I got my combo card I haven’t heard from them until today I received the second prima facie for another 6 months. i travel to my country twice Jamaica upon return a officer walk me to get me parole in they told me to sit and wait for my name to call. I was there for five minutes and they called me and ask me a few questions and stamp my passport and that was it . the longest time I spent outside of the is three weeks, the first time was two weeks.
