FO - Chicago, no I didnt expedite but I did chat with tier 1 to check if I can do anything and they said they cant raise a ticket for out of processing time but I didnt ask to expedite, IOE09133

I tried contacting USCIS on the phone and could only get the machine and when I chatted with someone, they weren't helpful. Just kept telling me to check the processing time chart. I submitted on September 8th so was hoping to hear back soon after you, but still nothing. How did you contact or ask for the ticket? @shakti lenka ?

as per lawfully statistics, around 37% people who applied in our time frame got approved. I guess a lot more people ahead of us

I chatted and for ead the tier 1 officer said he cannot do anything but he did raise a out of processing time for i485 as it was more than 2 months for rfe response received by them, but it's been more than 2 weeks for that ticket no response , but I did get my EAD approved 3 days after I raised ticket got i485, not sure what happened, and hope for yours to get approved soon

Thank you both for responding! Yeah I chatted with someone today but they didn't mention anything about raising a ticket (I also got an RFE and responded to it Nov 4). Wasn't sure if the 2 month thing for the rfe was an official thing. I hope so too!

Also did you also apply for the AP (I-131)?

yeah i applied for ap but they gave me just ead I was surprised I thought I will get combo, also yes 60 days is a official timeline to respond after they received rfe response , check the date on the uscis website the date from there

but the ticket didnt help me , may be it was just coincidence but they gave me ead

and no response for the ticket I raised for i485

I called USCIS on Friday asking for EAD. they said they cannot predict when it will be approved. But, created an expedite ticket.

I did apply for AP, but no change in status

ok. hope you hear back about it soon. when I asked about creating an expedite request they told me it could actually make it worst

I tried the online Emma chat.. I typed, 'live agent' and finally it gave me an option to chat with live agent.

@E S, I doubt if they had seen the expedite request. The ticket was raised on Friday afternoon and my EAD was approved on Sunday midnight. I just received EAD. Now, have to wait for AP or the interview

@E S card was being produced then after 3 days card is produced then same day card has been picked up by USPS
