yeah, if you don’t have anything to put there, since you didn’t file any taxes these couple of years, then don’t put anything there. You just got to rely on the person sponsoring, let his/ her income be large enough to sponsor you.

But you also need to be careful because they’ll be wondering why your spouse needs a visa, since/ if you are not living and working in the US, how do you take care of your spouse when he/ she arrives in the US. These question will arise in their minds.

They’ll request for past 3yrs tax transcript from you, as a US citizen. Idk when you stopped working in US/as a US Citizen, providing the most recent taxes might help in addition to your sponsor’s. And you’ll also need to file form I-864, even if you didn’t work. There’s a place in the form that asks if you gonna use someone else’s income in addition to yours… have that in mind as well

@Andy God hello, I received my 2021 tax return transcript that I will upload to CEAC as they requested 2021 w2 which I dont have since I live abroad and not working. i am planning to upload tax return transcript and a statement why I dont have w2. same thing with our joint sponsor. he is self employed, no w2. has tax transcripts. will that be acceptable
