Finally I am sharing the end of my journey!
I thought this day would never come. We applied for a marriage-based adjustment of status on Dec 28, 2021 (Montana). In February 2022 I submitted my fingerprints. In May 2022 I got my employment authorization & SSN, but never received my travel document which bothered me a lot (I used to visit my mom every 2-3 weeks, and now I haven’t seen her for over 15 months, missed her 60th birthday, it sucks!). Same day they approved my EAD, they sent me a courtesy letter saying my medical is missing, so I took care of it immediately and had my medical envelope ready )) On Dec 16 they approved I-130 Alien Relative Petition and issued Request for Evidence saying I need to send them my medical. I sent it the same day, 3 days later it was delivered and the status changed to “Response was recieved”. Today at 6am I received an email “We have taken an action on your case”, and the only thing that changed was a little line “Response received on Jan 3, at 11 am. We will review the evidence”. I was like “I thought you received my response on Dec 19, and actually if the update is dated Jan 3, why I receive notification the next day? But whatever, do your thing USCIS”. And now I checked the app and saw the “Case Approved” update, I dreamt so long about! I couldn’t belive it double-checked at USCIS website, there is no mistake )) There was no interview (we are together for almost 8 years, of which almost 5 years married; before we moved to the States my husband actually moved to me and we lived in Moscow, Russia for 6.5 years, during which we visited almost 40 countries, submitted pictures from all those trips with our application, so it was really hard to suspect a marriage fraud in our case lol). Anyway, I am wishing everyone to see the precious “Case approved” as soon as possible! See you in 2y 9m when I will be applying for my citizenship haha

I see that the timeline here shows I-130 was approved on Oct 11. That’s wrong, it was actually approved on Dec16. Apparently I messed up with the I-130 case number in the app, got super excited for no reason in October, only to see no change at USCIS website and discover my typo. That’s why I was so sceptical today ))

@vika Congratulations 🍾! Same thing happened to me today. I sent my medicals on Dec 23. Same day status changed to receive and today I got email regarding action taken . I still haven’t received case approval but constantly checking the app. At what time of the day did you receive approval ?

@HP I think at around 1pm. Today I again woke up to emails from USCIS “There was an update”, three emails this time. There is nothing new on the website. So I am thinking one update is probably old news I saw yesterday (case approved). Hope that two other updates will materialize into “Advance parole - case closed”, and “I-485 Card was mailed”. Keeping on the waiting game)
