@Celso , i had my prima facie 4months after submission but i have to submit RFE Good moral character which i did before i got my prima facie.

Hello all, I received my c(31) ead, does that mean my vawa is approved, i got the ead on july but no approval letter. What does this mean. Also, can I marry now as my vawa is approved assuming c(31) implies vawa approval

Alex you apply only for vawa or all packages

All I know is that C31 mean vawa approval also they will still send your approval letter. I dont think you can remarry now just wait till you get the 10yrs greencard.

This seems like you received your c09 ead based on your response of expediting your case. VAWA cannot be expedited.

@Aji oye ~ Did you get your approval notice yet? My Vawa was officially approved yesterday & USCIS states they sent out the approval notice. In October I got a notification that a new card is being processed, so I’m just curious to see when I will receive said documents in my hands. As it looks like I’ll get the approval notice before an EAD, I hope I can take this to the DMV to renew my license.

Hey Alex Alex. That’s correct. I got the notification that a new card was being processed on October 18th. Yeaterday I got another notification stating that my Vawa was approved & that a approval notice had been sent out. I’ve been looking at similar cases to try to figure out WHEN I’ll get the EAD card. On the average, it looks like ppl are getting them between 3-5 months. Now this is just the cases I’ve seen on here. If you know something different please let me know. The timeline just seems really off.

@KP, let’s say I got EAD C31 on 10th October and received Notice approval on 4th November. @Aji, here approval letter we are talking about the VAWA APPROVAL, not EAD APPROVAL. don’t get confused between two. I was going through your details and I was confused but now I have crystal clear knowledge that you are talking about EAD APPROVAL.

Thank you My Name ~ I stand corrected...I DO have the EAD notice but it's so bloody old I forgot that I got it when I filed the I360 back in 2019. These past 2 yrs have been so tough. I just don't understand why I never got the card after sending in 2 applications & even writing Vermont. No response to my actions. The immigration process is deeply flawed & it needs to be addressed.

@kp, hold on hold on, are you saying after you submit i765 you never received C09 Ead or any pre-approval Ead C31 till now?

@my name: so getting c31 ead is pre approval of i360 ? then person has to wait for approval notice are these two different things ?? mine was July 2 /2021 card was mailed, but I recieved in September 1 20121. simce then no approval letter. status just says card was mailed. i just did my i 485 biometric .

My Name ~ Okay the ONLY EAD I have ever received was back in Sept 2018 when I was married to my husband. He filed my original paperwork in Jan/2018. THAT was a C09 EAD. I filed for Vawa in Sept 2019 (I360, I765) I have NEVER EVER received an EAD through Vawa. IF the card that is currently being processed now (Oct 18th New card is being produced notification) is an EAD, it will be my FIRST EAD through Vawa.

@KP it’s a good news that you are getting EAD, now just wait and see which one you are getting, it could C09 / C31 one way another.

@Alex Alex, YES. first I receive C31 EAD then I received the VAWA CASE APPROVAL notice letter. it’s just depend case to case how long the approval official notice will be sent. but as you said you already received C31 ead, which means it’s a good sign. do google search: what is C31 EAD card meaning? it will give you clear concept. :-)

Alex Alex ~ I’m not sure as I did biometrics back in 2018. I wasn’t tracking anything back then. Everything is so botched since Covid. I’m sure you’re alright.

@Alex, after approval within a year it will take to get approve for i485 if there’s any interview schedule, so for that they send file from nvc to local office for field officer

hello All any idea how long after doing i 485 biometric ? i got the mail deficiency mail as well for medical but they said not to send and wait for their response. its been 2 weeks i did biometric.
