F2A "case is being actively reviewed by uscis" i-130
Hi everyone, I wanna discuss the I-130 "actively review" status here with y'all who had the similar situation I'm a lawful permanent resident (LPR) and I submitted the I-130 form for my wife on August 5, 2021. The receipt notice says my case is received by the California Service Center. Then after 4 months, on Dec 9, 2021 the status of my case changed to "case is being actively reviewed by uscis". I checked many online resource. Some cases got approved only a few days after "actively review" and some cases are still waiting since months and years. Also, I feel like between end of 2021 to beginning of 2022 there are HUGE amount of cases status were changed to this "actively review". (Correct me if I'm wrong) I'm not sure how long will it take. Any idea? or suggestion? or helpful information is welcome #130 #ActivelyReviewed #F2A

the sad truth is every case is different. some people have no complications and get approved rather quickly and some people wait months. it also depends on the country of the beneficiary. I really don’t know what to tell you, I have been depressed over this as well.
Nan LMar 7, 2022
which country is your beneficiary from?

My husband's (India) F2A I-130 was submitted in July 2020 to CSC and it still just says "received". I have no idea what USCIS are doing these days... No other large country has such a crazy immigration system. Anyway, like other people have said, every case is different and I have seen people waiting months after "actively reviewing" but also just days/weeks too. It's all luck unfortunately.

@shane Hi Shane! What is CSC and VSC? My husband(permanent resident) submited my aplication in July/2021, and just a couple of days ago it changed to "Actively reviewing" ... what did you ask Emma to change your status?
Shane ChayMar 8, 2022
CSC=California Service Center. VSC=Vermont Service Center. You can chat with live agent via Emma to know where your case is being processed.

@Adiba Anjum @G B thanks! The thing is you don't even know what they are doing. There is no significant difference between "received" and "actively review"....may be just a status to make people who has been waiting for a long time feel better ;(

My WiFi application is for me. She has a green card. We submitted it to the California Office in December 2019. So far, no information has been approved. USCIS processing time is receding. It was a long wait.
