F1-OPT changing to green card
hi everyone! i am an F1 visa holder authorized to work with a EAD expiring on December 13, 2021. I got married to a USC and priority date for I-485/I-765/I-130/I-131 is July 21, 2021. can I extend my current EAD in case I don’t get a new one or I-485 approved before then? I am not a STEM OPT, by the way.

i'm stem opt student so i extend after my first opt ended. if u cannot extend under your current opt category then u have to wait till u get the GC or EAD.

you can’t extend your opt unless you’re STEM. you’re going to have to leave ur current job when ur EAD expires and wait until you get a further notice from uscis. you only filed 3 months ago, I’d give them until next spring or summer to start looking at your case
