As far as I read, you can expedite if you are a healthcare worker requesting for EAD renewal if it expires in the next 30 days or it is already expired. I didn't find information about initial EAD for healthcare workers

My visa advisor told me to try it. I was confused bcs I still have a valid H1B, so I was not sure it that applies to me. I will try it this week. I know another person healthcare worker with a valid H1B applied ER in Dec and got approved.

Ana G C I see you can try anyway if your lawyer is telling you but they know you are on H1B and you dont need EAD for your work

Actually I really need to move to another job. This is why I am trying to expedite it. I am waiting for a whole year and nothing yet.

Ana G C is not going to hurt you ….. you can expidte by yourself you dont need the lawyer to do it just have the evidance …. i did expite some of my visa in the past and it was successful
