I expedited on Monday but for employer financial loss, which is definitely less important than health of a relative, Emma agent took my brief explanation under 900 characters and gave me an ID as well. they said they would look at evidence they already have as part of AoS package and if need be request more but I am not surprised if they don’t get back to me at all; not life or death situation

i was never emailed a reference, they just gave me the reference number by chat. it’s been a month and nothing is moving.

I spoke to an agent for the AP expedite. I also received the ref on call and was told I would get an email - nothing as yet and no change on my case aswell.

my mum is having some health issues these days and I’m sad that I can’t be with her. they said if the situation gets worse I can call and make an appointment at the local uscis office to get a stamp to my passport for short time travel permit..

I have expedited on 17th november because of my grandma is sick. they gave me req. number. Its been almost 30 days but haven’t heard anything back. when i am checking on phone they are saying that it should be picked up within 7 days of request. But they cant do anything. Then i requested tier 2 call back … but he also said that he can only escalate after 30 days only. Now my grandma is not double good so i am planning to opt for emergency travel.

there is a website you can fill out the immigration form in NJ. but Idk how in other states..

baris Kurt@ snate.gove then on tye top you will see " Find your senators" click on it, then select your state. call the numbers next the senator you want to seek help from and tell them you need help with a immigration issue the will give you instruction on how to do it.

Any one with update about I 131 advance parole that was expedited.

Upon receipt of your request for expeditious handling, your case was reviewed and a determination was made that we need additional information to make a decision regarding your request. Please fax proof that your case meets one or more of the expedite criteria

i applied for AP expedite on December 5, on December 28 I received an email asking to fax proof. I also expedited EAD on December 28. I am thinking of faxing proof for both at the same time. probably a low chance of approval but makes me feel less depressed as I am doing something. have not gone to congressman or senator for help yet. I don’t know how many more expedites I can handle, I feel more like suing USCIS than begging them.

I applied for advance parole expedite as my job requires international travel. as proof I can attach letter from line manager how inability to travel negatively impacts profitability but it does not sound like a strong enough reason for expedite approval compared to health of relatives so I am debating if to proceed or not with sending proof. my work permit reason is much stronger as if I don’t get it in time it will result in job loss and loss of medical insurance which I need for sure for my upcoming operation. so I am waiting for their email asking for more proof for EAD as it is more relevant at this stage

@Alxir I have my mother’s doctor visit reports and prescriptions in original language so the requirement was original copies and translations. I translated myself and sent the fax with explanation letter as they requested. let’s see

I don’t have uscis account. just 765 case status changed on Jan 13 to card is being produced. 131 is still on pending.. nothing changed.. and I received the combo card 21 Jan.

my expedite worked as well, after I faxed my proof my EAD got approved the next day and AP the day after. unfortunately not a combo card, looks like AP will be a paper, validity one year, EAD will be a card with 2 year validity, waiting for both to be delivered
