expedite request for I765 denied . help needed
I am a healthcare worker and my current H4EAD is expiring in January. I have submitted the request to expedite my GC EAD (i765) which has been pending adjudication since oct 2020. I submitted employer letter stating that they will terminate me if I do not get EAD on time and they will also have hard time due to shortage of medical staff. but still the request was denied. Can you help me what extra evidence can be provided to get the request approved. Its in Texas service center

@ Aj Mah I am so sorry to hear that I did expedite mine using the letter from my job but could only do that a month before your ead expire. so may be you try again when it’s only a month left

I tried the congress person path and it didn’t help. They are pretty much useless, don’t get your hopes up, but try it!

I agree. If you are lucky enough, you get your expedite request processed by “ a human being “. Otherwise, it’s just waste of time and energy.

Also had a failed request from a congressman. Mine expired in August and had many failed expedite requests even with letter from job, bank statements, new house contact - everything! There seems to be no logic or pattern and purely luck based on service center and who looks at your form!

Aj Mah, you are still 3 months out which is a long time. I would wait until 6 weeks out and try again, there are a lot of people that will expire in under a month - I have heard they are rejecting all requests and concentrating on back log.
