expedite request approved but no update afterwords
I submitted the expedite request for I-765 through a congressman on Feb 2 (reason: financial loss of company - i got a letter from my boss and hr) and the expedite requeat was approved on Feb 7, but there is no update since then. I talked with Emma chat live agents and they said "i don't know when the case will be assigned to an officer for processing". I found some postings that their cases were stuck more than a month after "expedited requst approved". My case is in Texas Service Center.

how do you know it was approved if you did not get any update ? my expedite is on the same situation

@Jessica My current status is "Expedite Request Appeoved" so i know the expedite requst was approved. this status has not changed for a week. Emma chat said I have to wait until the case is assign to an office to get "case approved".

This expedite request is from Dec (family illness). my husband who is the primary was approved for his EAD over 5 weeks ago. there is no logic to there work
So I’m not sure why they are approving my expediate after 2 months. Anothwr excuse to killing a couple of weeks

they take a long time to update…after my approval my card reached me before the system got updated so don’t worry….card is probably on way already….and system will be later updated

My ead expedite got approved in two different dates, but still no trace of actual ead status. Im not sure its been assigned to an officer yet or not

jan 6 got it 7 days after and then they updated my account after I got it in hand

@DOE I didn't know that they could send a card even before they updated the system. thanks for sharing!

@Cleo ivy they do that pretty often. My I-140 petition got approved in October 2019, its case status still says to this date it was received. If it wasn’t for the letter we received we wouldn’t event know it was approved.

@Louise thanks for sharing! I just found that mine changed to "new card being produced" as well. hopefully i can get a card delivered soon. i will update once i receive it.
