Expedite request - further information needed
Hi all,
our lawyer filed expedite requests for my husband (main petitioner for our employment-based GC), me and our daughter.
This morning my husband’s request was denied (it is not urgent, we can extend his visa), however mine is set on “further information needed” (potentially because my EAD is about to expire in two weeks).
What can we send in as further evidence that is strong enough? I will send in an email from my employer stating the end date of my work permit as well as that no further payment can be received until I provide a work permit (or GC). Do you think that is sufficient to count as financial hardship? And how quickly do you hear back after you provide further evidence?

Sara you can file for your renewal of EAD and can work for another 180 days automatically as per the new rule
Graceful ManFeb 7, 2022
and if your husband case is outside processing time then you can file Mandamus. this will push them to make a decision in 30 days

@Rehan: We are already pushing (we are out of normal processing times since two weeks) however his expedite request did get declined. And we did file the renewal but those 180 days are ending on the 02/22 (not the original EAD). And I don’t even have 30 days anymore 😭

then file Writ of Mandamus through attorney. I have used it and it works

Ah, it’s to persue legal action, right? I think our lawyer mentioned it and we are considering it.
