you can raise SR via USCIS e-request process and in that select document issue and mention clearly in comments the PD which is required to be ported. USCIS will reach back you via your email asking you to provide eb2 I-140 approval notice as documentation evidence to port the date to eb1.

@d n has this worked for you? Emma says that yhey can’t do this and then when I request for a tier 2 agent call back - I get a note saying they determined a call back isn’t necessary

@d n both in my approved i140 and 485 it has the priority date of aug 22 and not my eb2 priority date from 2018. my current status is biometrics have been applied and is at San Jose Fo for about 6 weeks now.

my priority data was automatically ported from EB2. However, my dependants files did not go to FO despite my file going to FO and I485 were filed together.. I chatted with few agents to link my dependants files with my file. Many told they could not do as it is already in process. But one day , one agent was able to create a service request. Within few days, my dependants files were moved to FO. I even got the letter from FO. about my request. Based on this , I suggested you that agent is your best bet. what is your attorney who filed I485 saying?

@KS Rulz I am not sure why my lawfully timeline isn’t showing but I do have an approved i140 ( aug 2022). I understand the eb2 priority should’ve been on the eb1 but despite including it in my application it didn’t show up on i140 or i485.

@Mt - thank you. can you share if this worked for you? I ask because we’ve sent a letter to NBC through lawyers and accelerated through congressman. if SR would help, I’ll do but if it stalls, I am worried.

yes. i485 has EB2 date

As said earlier, my PD was automatically ported and I did not have to create SR. if sending a letter to NBC. has not worked , please send a letter to FO where your file is sitting. As FO is way smaller than NBC , there is a better chance that some one look at it. I still feel that getting the SR created through Emma is the best bet. Please try multiple options many times until SR is created.

I am going to chat with the agents few times to see if this works. my eb1 i140 was approved aug 22. sending’s the stuff for San Jose field office is also a great idea. thanks again! my attorney who filed just sent it to nbc and is askifn me to wait. to them, the wait time doesn’t matter.

@mct - I’ve had no success on any approach. so far, we’ve sent a notice letter with all documents to uscis ( my lawyer did this), sent a note to my local congressman explaining in detail about my case and to represent my case ( I did this) , raised a SR online calling out typographical error ( on uscis website - I did this as well). good luck!!

@tamil mct @north west I heard from SR on email saying they’ve “forwarded it to an adjucating officer and will send an amended document if they deem necessary” not sure if it’s generic response or if it’s positive. just sharing.

finally greened today! so excited. not sure if the SR worked or the congressman or if it was automatically ported but the wait is finally over.

@north west there’s a comment box. share your contact info and i can send language. also, I found out that what really worked was my letter to local congressman. so May be that approach is better than sr. either way - I am happy to share lingo with you over email.

not sure if this context helps anyone. today I received an updated I 797 with my eb 2 Priority date. which means that either the sr or the congressman request worked.

my eb1 i140 was premium and when they did not port pd I asked my lawyer to reply to premium processing approval email to correct this error. they sent us new I140 approval notice with old PD within a week

@R S what was your previous EB type before EB-1? I am in the same boat.
