it’s currently in NBC and my asc is Nebraska no biometrics yet

got my biometric appointment and I also use NBC.but had to call USCIS 2days ago to submit a service request, and an officer called me back helping me scheduled the appointment. and told me i should receive the actual paper notice in the mail. so am only waiting for that

USCIS is so so so backlog, so to get in front of the line, one has to be active and keep calling them. that's the only way to get their attention cause there's thousands of people applying too

waiting since July 2nd. NBC. No respond yet for Bio even do I put 2 requests and nothing. so stressful to wait for so long for work permit 😔

sanja, I know how frustrating this is, especially if you have a kid. but like USCIS is just so so backlog with thousands of application. best option right now is to keep calling or pressuring them. if you want your case to get ontop

waiting since after biometrics on sept 2020. nbc. had 2 service requests too. I hope we receive work permit before Christmas 🙏🏻🙏🏾

I have similar situation Quadri I have apllief for AOS on 19th Oct. I got reciept after 1 month on 19th Nov. My visa expired now on 7th Dec. So I had to stop working as I dont have valid work authorization. I called USCIS multiple times and the officer said they cant expediate my biometric as I am not medical professional or I dont have medoxal emergency. As I dont have biometrci they are not accepting request for expediate of EAD. Any advice will help to get this as I am currently not working as dont have EAD and AOS is progress.

same, I have been waiting since May 28. called multiple times and the officer said can’t expedite my bio and told me to wait to hear back from service request. I already submitted one in oct no response, now they asked me to wait for the dec one I submitted, which give them another 30 days

@NX what state are you in? there is so much variance that is due to the ASC Location

yep, I have been waiting for 200 days! but I heard some sf filed in feb only got their bio in oct (so 8 months)

closest ASC for me is Detriot, Michigan but I am filing from Ohio. Last time I spoke to the USCIS agent on the phone, she told me the delays are all due to back logs in the actual ASC locations

Yes, and the Seattle ASC is slow. It was already before Covid, because too many filers here lol

lol, yes, same with Detriot- Those two cities have been hit hard by Covid as well.. so we continue to wait..
