EAD for C9 VAWA Case
I am getting really worried. My EAD extension ends Nov 28th and I still have not heard anything from USCIS about my new EAD card with my VAWA application. It has been 7 months already. I filed back in March 2021. I need my job so I can take care of myself while i wait on this long process. I don’t know what else to do at this point.

Many people's EAD cards have delayed, including mine. I will be out of my job on Monday. There are people who are out of job for three months. USCIS does not care. As it is, this is effectively an unofficial deportation by USCIS.

Until 2019, USCIS was required to respond to your case within 90 days. They are not required to respond anymore, they are going to process it whenever they feel like it.

@ Zara A: You could check with your employer (HR team) if they allow you to work on Receipt number. Some companies are allowing to work based on pending EAD Receipt numbers as you have extension <<
*only clause in that if that case gets rejected you cannot work* >> but it is rare...
As D K mentioned it is true USCIS won't respond even You lost job or going to loose the Job

This is very unfair :( I will reach out to my congressman and USCIS to expedite this. not giving up just yet. someone in another comment section said they got theirs 2 days ago and filed in March of this year too
