Hi there! I requested too same thing. EAD for financial loss. When I called they told me it was gonna be about 3 weeks to get an answer. I requested on Feb 1st and recieved an email asking for evidence on Feb 17th. Sent the evidence now waiting again for a decision.

thanks for replying. I made the request on 27 Jan but it never showed up , then called again on Feb 11 and received the email on same day that the previous request was not made correctly by the USCIS representative. and I called them again yesterday and the person said that it looks denied but when I asked does it say on what basis and when can I receive official email about the denied expedite request then she said it doesn’t officially say denied instead it says case being actively reviewed by USCIS which by the time being doesn’t seem like would be approved or something… which made me more confused because I believe I have a strong evidence and especially I have not received an email regarding evidence submission nor the official denied request email

I have made 3 expedite requests. First one got lost in the system & was never responded to. Second was denied because I’d received a RFE (“legible copy of birth certificate”) on my I-485 and they said that meant all my cases were put on hold. Third expedite submitted 2/1/22; received request for evidence supporting expedite request on 2/17/22, which I sent by fax that same day. Nothing relating to any of the three expedite requests is noted on my online USCIS account. My reason to expedite is that I have senior government health role, which is urgent for me to take up. Have also contacted my Congressman. Feel frustrated that I’m unable to work; people around me are suffering because I’m forced to wait for EAD.. @Jo D did you get an official denied email for your 2nd request?

@bePositive 999 responded as in approved or denied ? no request for evidence?

@ New York then how do you know for sure whether the request u made was approved or denied without receiving an official email from them ?

@New York - yes, but despite sending my job description and letters confirming my role as essential, it still doesn’t seem to permeate the USCIS process. @Nouman ahmad I received an email which said that the expedite was denied because processing on all my cases was suspended whilst USCIS was waiting to receive my response to their request for further evidence. It also said that I could submit a further expedite request after the evidence was submitted & processing resumed - which is what I did.

mine took 31 days still in NBC before getting a response from them

I submitted on January 27th and NBC sent me an email on February 16th that they got my expedite request and they are working on it. no evidence was requested

@ Jo D please could you share the fax number/email address? I'm in similar situation and trying to get ahead of things as this institution is full of uncertainties. At least when they see supporting documents, they can jump on that.

@Jo D thanks for your response. I do wish the same. can u share your timeline of third expedite request when they requested evidence from you? Bcz I also received an RFE regarding joint sponsor documents I.e W2 etc forms which I have sent… but my request has not been denied neither have I received any request for evidence about my expedite request. so im not sure what the current status of my request😔

@Nouman Ahmad - sorry taken so long to reply, my phone had a problem. I submitted third request 02/01/22 they requested evidence on 02/17/22 which I faxed same day. @21-00 I’m sorry, I don’t think the fax number would help because it’s different each time they’ve requested evidence from me.
