how did you expedite for ead. ? did they ask you for any proof?

i expedite mine. Feb 18th status changed to expedite request received". On Feb 23rd I received an email from USICS saying " Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly" Nothing after that.

I expedited mine on Tuesday evening, 3/1/22. By 8:30am on Wednesday morning, I received an email asking me to email additional documents. I responded to the email asap. And at 7:40am this morning, my expedite request was approved.

how to do that ? is there any fee? because I’m going for job search after internship in one two weeks. i want to have my ead. can you explain to me how to do that

you can call USICS and say infopass...to be able to talk to a live agent or try the online chat with Emma. Type live agent or infopass until you get the option to choose green card. Then a Tier 1 officer will talk to you. Google the reasons you need to expedite and then decide which one you're using.

Rushminah: there is no fee. I made my request through Emma. I typed “expedite case,” and I was transferred to a live agent instantly. The agent asked what my reasons were and I told her.

My experience is similar to yours @Belle. Requested on Friday 2/25, received RFE on Monday, responded to RFE on Tuesday and yesterday Wednesday request was approved then status changed the same day to card being produced. Now waiting for physical card.

but do they check any proof concerning any reasons?

after internship, my mentors are helping for job search which will require ead. is this a valid reason to expedite ead and also my husband is only one working and paying all expenses

you can claim financial hardship! they will ask for proof.

I submitted expedite request on Monday and was given a case number but haven't seen anything change on my application. Is that normal?

@rushminah i did my expedite on the phone with uscis agent. few days later they asked evidence with fax. I sent my evidences with fax.

I’m losing money I have many many job offer even today I got job offer again. and I said I wanna work. it’s been 7 months after my application. am I gonna wait many years my work permit ? I need money I sent my all job offers and all passed interview proofs

are you applying any work despite no ead? you know I’m having my internship, it will end in two weeks. then I need to do job search with my mentor so I don’t know if that will help?

i did interview without my EAD on December 26th. It's not a big deal. I told the hiring manager I was still waiting for my EAD and the company lawyers did a visa assessment and decided that it was low risk to bring me on board (low risk of my EAD being rejected). I got the job offer and they decided my start date would be March 28th based on my timeline. EAD was approved today. That's one way you can do this.

so you sent them only the company letter stating you will start on march? will they contact your company ?

they did not asked for any documents. They received my expedite request on Feb 18th and today my status changes to new card being produced. I don't know if the expedite worked...

filed Set 30th, PD july 2021. status before was Expedite request received...NBC.
