My SSN took about two weeks after my EAD arrived..

Both won't be delivered together. My husband's were 1 day apart in our case!

yea, 1 -4 week, if you call them they are going to tell you to wait thr timeline

no prob, you going to get it after like 2 week SSN office can tell in there system if it’s being process

@Good Citizen my advice is that you should make an appointment to SSN Office for that. You will get it faster than waiting. And if the other one comes, there will be no problem. Always remember " Less Is More"

I had to call ss office they said uscis didnt send over my info so I had to make an appointment so call ur ss office make sure they got ur stuff

hey @sis r we are stuck in same boat. got ssn for one of the parent but other parent we got ead in nov and we haven’t received ssn. we called Uscis and they told us to wait few more weeks..

call ur ss office not uscis they have nothing to do with it cause they can tell u wait n nothing comes so best to call ss office got mines a week after my ss appointment

it’s simple if you applied for your SSN when you applied for your EAD SSN is going to tell you to wait the 4 week, I’m not sure if other states SSN office are open but here in TX I was freaking out that mines was coming in the mail cause you get an appointment seem like trying to obtain Zeus light bolt, cause you have to meet certain requirements.

called local ssn office for 76092 zip code they said we cannot do anything call Uscis and ask them to send over information. @kemar I am also in Dallas 76092 zip code.. what do you suggest we do?

The approval notice arrived to me a day before the EAD.

yes we applied for it.. we filed for mom and dad.. mom got it but dad hasnt

and your dad got his EAD November the 21st?

@Kemar... My lawyer applied for me, so I've called him and he told me they applied for it too and I should just wait that it will come soon.

yes as mentioned we applied for both.. mom got ead and ssn ( oct 30 and dec 5) while dad got ead nov 21 2020 and no word on ssn

@ jay you since it’s been about 2 months you got to try and call the SSN office to at least see if they got your dad in the system if not got to try and make an appointment, ik in Houston they are only doing emergency appointments so maybe you got to tell them he got a job coming up and he needs it, abd call multiple locations some are less strict

well, the wait time the SSN is going to give you is 4 week, but i remember that I called like the 2-3 week and they did see it in the system, so if you can call about that time frame and they say they see it in the system you are good, just have to wait on it to be delivered
