EAD before interview?
is it likely to get your EAD before an interview for marriage based green card. Or do you need an interview before they issue an EAD?

thank you!! trying to figure out what my timeline might be but only have had biometrics taken. all of my cases are with National Benefits Center and based in Brooklyn

It can go either way, you can get it before, after or not get it all if you are approved at the interview. If you make it to the interview without your EAD being approved, if your green card is approved at the interview or soon thereafter, there would be no need to issue you a EAD at that point.
Some people get the EAD and Early Parole in advance, while others don't, they instead go directly to an interview. Some people are approved during the interview, some people have to wait a little while longer for further checks or on an adjudicating process.
