How long did it take for NVC to schedule your interview in Frankfurt after your DQ date?

@Nadine P I’m still waiting for an interview appointment for the Frankfurt embassy. I’m waiting since January 18th. 🙃

@Nadine P I guess the only thing we can do is waiting. 🥹 no I haven’t done the medical yet. I guess I am doing it when I received my interview appointment. 😅 what about you?

@Sarah Wehkamp Guess there really isn’t anything else we can do! I just saw that the next available medical appointments are a couple months away which is why I’m freaking out a bit 😅But it seems we are not allowed to schedule a medical without an interview date. This last step isn’t rocket science, why is it so difficult to give people an appointment date for a 5-min interview?? Especially since they are giving out appointments for all other visa types within a couple days… Good luck to you 🍀

Fir IR1 / CR1 catagory person get interview date faster then F2A ??

@Nessy - Unfortinately, we are influenced by the latest visa bulletin retrogression. We will not get an interview date until our priority dates become current or our spouses become citizens.

@Nadine P oh 😧 so there is a difference when you are not married to a usc?

@Nessy - Yes, huge difference. The F2A category has an annual limit of visas that can be given away, while the CR1 has no limit.

I'm also waiting for Interview Date in Frankfurt. Spouse of a Green Card. DQ date 29 April 2023.

@Hamna Shahid So you‘re in the same situation as us. Our priority date is not current anymore (check the visa bulletin) and unfortunately, the June bulletin says it will most likely retrogress more next month (under the tables you can see notes for certain visa types). We‘ve talked to multiple lawyers and it seems that we are not getting invited to an interview until our priority dates become current.

@Nadine P Yes you are right. It was going Current in many previous months. And from April it's not Current anymore. Will have to wait then. Don't know when when it will change to current.
