hi! for what it’s worth, our attorney had us only file for I-130 too.

usually as a us citizen you file everything concurrently unless there’s no visa date available then u have to wait until the I130 is approved then u file for the rest

people file k3 to speed up their i130 approval, there's no fact behind it, but a lot of people that file k3 after i130 got approved faster including me, I got approved in 5 months

People usually file the K-3 together with the I-130 and get approved really fast.

usually - depending on whether the spouse is overseas and taking the consular route.

we filed I-130 june 2021 and filed for K3 last week! it might speed up the approval , or not - it worked for some peeps so worth a try 🙏

If you can @Daajiyah, file the K-3 right now. It will speed up your case. One person filed the I-130 and K-3 together and was approved in less than 2 months.

@ Daajiyah lamb, my PD was September 20,2021 Bd I got approved February 18 2022, my k3 pd was January 27th 2022, so 3 weeks after I file my k3 I got approved ,all together 5 months

If I am not mistaken, the 485, 765, and 129 is only if the person is here in the US. If the person is overseas, you would file the 130 and K-3 and that does speed up the process. So yes, file the K-3 and you will hopefully be approved quick.
