Delay in renewing EAD Card
My EAD expired and the automatic extension also got expired a few weeks ago. I've lost my job because of it, so I'm struggling with the financial crisis. Though I tried everything for fast renewal (asking for expedite request, sending email, etc..) the process kept being delayed and now I'm out of work. I have no idea what to do anymore. Any advice for me?

same here… my ead went for renewal after it expired thanks to my lawyer… but still no update since august

call them or let your laywer call them if u have one.
if you got no response contact your local Assmbly member office and explain ur case they will help you out.

USCIS Ombusman assists people with their cases with USCIS, you can expedite through ombudsman as well.

Same thing happened to me. I expedited my EAD renewal through my congressman. Find the congressman responsible for your area. Enter their website. In their website, there is a section called services. From services choose federal, and from there choose immigration. Complete the form and send it to them (follow the instructions on their website)

Congressmen are authorized to expedite for you. Make sure you provide reasons to expedite it. 1) proof that you lost your job 2) job offer letter 3) humanitarian reasons - you work for the US nation's benefits 4) financial crisis

Everybody applies to expedite because of the financial crisis reason, therefore it seems that only having that reason is not enough for your expedite request is approved. Make sure you provide two or three reasons that USCIS considers

PS. Make sure your congressman receives your expedite request. I reached out one senator but he did not respond. Then I chose a congressman in my area, they responsed the next day and took an action immediately

MZ how long after contacting the congressman and submitting the expedite request USCIS replied to you?

USCIS replied to the congressman's request in 1 week. They sent an email to the congressional office person that they received it. It took another week for me to receive the notice of "Your expedite request approved" on my USCIS page. It has been 3 days since I received this notice. I am waiting for "new card is being produced" notice ✨🤞🏻🙏🏻
