First, you were supposed to go to the interview with an affidavit from your wife stating that she’s away and if possible to reschedule the interview to a later date. if she’s military, you could still do the interview alone by providing proof of deployment. you don’t just miss an interview and think they’ll automatically reschedule. you’ve abandoned your application, it’s probably close to NOI! communication is very important.

I told my lawyer and he asked me to send me her itinerary of her flight. I did and said we will be reschedule in 3-6 months time. she is not a military.

@i was made for this. Nope she didn’t. I don’t know if Uscis was waiting for her to make a move before the send us our date. beside her brother died that’s why she went to pay her last respect

@ni ne,what I can see is that most of the time people who were waiting for many months to hear anything back from the immigration after their interview date-most of them received notice of denial. And also I am talking about the cases where couples actually had an interview. Here in your case without an interview -I don’t see any good signs of possible approval here.

Who in the world would not show up to a requested interview? I do understand that sometimes scheduling is difficult but we can’t complain about USCIS on the one hand and on the other hand not play by the rules ourselves. I am sorry but I just don’t understand…

sa be. it wasn’t intentionally not showing up. she wasn’t in the state when they send the interview date. beside my lawyer never told me to go on my own and alert my officer that she wasn’t around. I told my lawyer to reschedule the interview and he ask for proof from me which I sent him and he told me we might be reschedule in 3-6 months.
Mitch NKFeb 19, 2022
if they took 20 days to renew your EAD that means your case is still on the process of re-scheduling an interview. so be patient because it might take longer but you will definitely have an interview
