you get an appointment when you get an appointment everyone is waiting. there’s no telling how long it’ll take...it could be weeks... it could be months... it could even be years. you can’t make predictions on a broken system

I don’t mean to bring you down, it’s just the way it is... things will get better once Joe Biden becomes president but progress takes time, and it’ll take Joe Biden some time to get the USCIS to a point where it’s back to normal and reasonable processing times... not to mention the massive backlog of cases that’ll take months to get thru

Jim the covid is the factor ooo. now that cases are been processed I think it won’t be that long.

I believe it all depends on what field office you are going through. From following along on others progress, I feel each field office varys quite a bit on how the process things. I have watched many get their bio appointments within 30 to 60 days of filing and EAD soon after.. Us, it took 5 months just to get a bio appointment. 1 business day after bio appointment, our status updated to Ready to Schedule Interview. The very next day, our status updated to Interview Scheduled. While it is exciting for all that to finally happen so fast, we have gone 5 months with no EAD. So now it appears GC and EAD will come at the same time. Doesn't seem to be much uniformity between all the field offices.

Ana is right. I feel it depends lot on your service center and field office. I have seen people waiting so long and some getting it very fast. below is my details if it helps for guidance. my S.C. - NBC field office - Montgomery, AL Bio - 10/20 ready to schedule interview - 11/6 Interview Scheduled - 11/10.

@jay jay. Yes, we are in Kansas City. But I don't think being in Kansas City and MSC being in Kansas City had much difference in processing other than a shorter distance for the paperwork to travel to the field office. The process moved slow at MSC (again, over 5 month wait just for Bio to be scheduled) until the paperwork arrived for field office handling. Then it sped up presumably because the field office is not as backlogged as other cities with probably a larger immigrant population.

did you get you EAD already ? pd 2/24/2020 bio 10/21/2020 ready to schedule for an interview 11/17/2020 still EAD is at bio were taken on 10/21/2020
