Case Is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS
Yesterday my case changed from Received to Actively Being Reviewed after only 1 month from the date USCIS marked my application as received. On my Lawfully Analysis it states that 79% of users received “Case Approved” status after an average of 36 days. Assuming that someone doesn’t get a different message (i.e. “Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent “), is it likely to get an approval this soon? Maybe I’m not understanding the Lawfully Analysis, but will there always be a RFE or is it posible to get an approval without being asked to submit evidence?

if you don’t give all your evidence then they’ll ask for RFE. they only ask the people that didn’t submit as much evidence as needed.

Gabby Don't get discouraged for falling for the "79% in 36 days" claim. Don't feel bad for getting excited either. The same thing happened to most of us. I know it did to me last June. I honestly don't know where Lawfully gets those numbers, or why they leave them up.

this is your first "actively reviewed" update. the vast majority of cases get two in total, one happening randomly sometime during the waiting process and the other one is when they ACTUALLY look at your case and make a decision. so discard that update, you will likely have to wait for many months. As an example, we got our first AR notification 6 months after filing, we're still waiting on the second. it is true that 79% users get case approved quickly after "actively reviewing" status, but it only applies to people getting their second AR status update out of the two.

@Tara M Thank you for your detailed message. After being on this app for the past few months, I can see that this is the case. Looking for that second “actively reviewing” message, hopefully in the next few weeks.
