case inquiry they have within 30 days to respond .

i called and spoke to an agent and he put in the case inquiry for me if you do that make sure they give you a confirmation number.

My case for EAD was out of processing time on January 15th. I filed an inquiry through the website, then I contacted my congressman to also put an inquiry. I also contacted the Ombudsman to follow up on my case. My status update to “case approved” yesterday. Overall it took 3 weeks.

Kristine k I used this website. Just put in your address and it will give your congressman. https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

@AFRO MADZ what did you tell the congressman? and what information did they need from you .im thinking about going that route but i dont know how to approach it thanks

@blessing in disguise I just asked them to file an inquiry because my case was out of processing time. All they needed was the receipt numbers and I had to sign a form to allow them to access my information. That’s it.

have a chat with live agent through Emma and ask them to submit the tier 2 officer review for your case since it is outside normal processing window .. you could get the service request information after the request submission that you will get a call from xxxx number and you have to provide the case nbr like 224356 within a week your case status will change again it is purely your luck only it works for me doesn’t mean it works for all but be positive and do this it works for pass to 5 cases for me 3 in Texas service center and 2 in Nebraska
