I can't wait to see if the green card is really greenDec 25, 2022
Close the asylum case first; otherwise, on your way back to us, they will hold for at least 3 hours.

Withdraw your Asylum application and you'll be fine. I have friends with pending asylum that got GC through marriage and has traveled multiple times without issues.

so here is my original question; Hi, I came to the U.S as a refugee asylee of a relative . the relative is my Dad . I got my Greencard under the “ immediate relative of a U.S Citizen “ status and not under the refugee asylee status . I am deriving all of these benefits under my Dad . my question is, can I go back to my home country and come back to the U.S without facing any problem now or when I would apply for citizenship even tho I originally came here under the refugee status but didn’t get my Greencard under refugee status? please keep in mind I got my Greencard under “immediate relative of a us citizen “ . would I need a travel document or my home country passport to travel to my country?
