has anybody any experience with the Cali Service Center? we filled our petition in October of 2021 we have nothing but the recipe number so far. Case Status is “Case was received” nothing else yet.

I know, it is sad to go through this lengthy process. So, per the time they set to process 80% of K1 cases, which is 15.5 months at this time, you should call and ask them as your case has been with them for 15.86 months now.
They should have something to tell you. But you should
make an inquiry on March 1, 2023.
Ask them also why people who waited 450, 439, 460 days are approved, and why your cases is not yet approved yet. Because USCIS says first in first served. but I can see that people who filed after you did, got their cases approved, for same fiancé case.

I applied October 4 2021 California service center. Case was received but my case status was never updated. When I called them they told me the case stilll processing normally🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️.

Yeah, that’s what they always tell me too. February 22, 2023 is your inquiry date. You will submit an inquiry using the form on USCIS page and they should respond. But do call them on same day, perhaps people on the phone, tier 1 officer could tell you what exactly the case is up to by then.

Farid U: you should hear a news before the inquiry date, which is March17, 2023. keep me posted as mine is December 6, 2021.
it’s odd that they do not process based on first in; first served principle. I just noticed such issue based on my assessments of what people post here.
