AP out of processing time but waiting on EAD
Filed both concurrently along with I-485 & I-140. Nothing approved yet. I heard that once EAD is approved, AP will be approved as well
If I do a case inquiry for AP, would it possibly trigger EAD processing? the latter is yet to be out of processing times in 2 months

no, unfortunately you need to wait for the EAD to also be out of processing time

I would try it. mine will be available for inquiry in 13 days. and I will do it. I asked 2 different officers on Emma and they said it could help but no promises. it won’t hurt.

Do they actually wait for EAD until AP can be issued? If so .. this is unfortunately. I was hoping to travel to my home country while waiting for EAD :(
