@Srikanth No progress. Submitted expedite request based on job offer which triggered bios. Did early walk in bio and then submitted another expedite request on 09/24 the day after bio. Awaiting response

@Norad How early did you do your biometrics before the appointment date?

Bio originally scheduled for October 12th. Successful early walk in on September 23rd

@Norad: so you just showed up at the center and they let you in?

So I showed up at 7:50am and there were 3 people forming a line outside. The guard came outside and was speaking with them. I waited for them to be processed to enter the building then I walked to the door. The guard greeted me and asked if I had an appointment. I told him yes I do however I won’t be able to make it and was wondering if I can go early. He was so pleasant and nice and he said sure that’s something they might accept. He let me in the building and told me to wait by the security checkpoint. Then he went into the biometrics room and came back out after maybe 10 seconds and told me I’m good to go and that they agreed to process me.

Biometrics for Kansas City are done at the field office rather than a designated ASC like some states. So it’s possible that I got lucky since most of the people present that day had GC interviews and the biometrics room was mostly empty. Not sure they would have processed me if more people were there to do biometrics. Especially considering there are only like 6 seats in the biometrics waiting room.

@ Norad: Yes, I got the GC in the mail last Wednesday. I have been in the US for almost 13 years, so I already have a SSN.

biometrics notice was sent yesterday for Orlando. biometrics appointment is December 20th.

Hey Srikanth did you get your BM yet? A couple of July filers got it today. BM notice date is December 4th. Their 485 receipt date is July 19th, 2021

I think you need an unexpired ID. can be license or a passport but has to be government issued and unexpired. you can either do Tatkal on your passport if you have Indian passport or faster still get your license renewed

I am RD 9/23 and trying to figure out when I will be getting my BM. you could also join a telegram group for KC filers if you are on telegram. there are people from July RD that completed their BM on 12/24. So once they get their EAD/GC you would be close right behind them

Did biometrics early walk-in this morning. Just took 10 min to complete. Status changed to actively reviewing within minutes.

what service center? mine is NBC, EB2, RD 9/24, BM done on 1/25

I have several friends before August dates (July). they all got their GC or if they were eligible for EAD got their EAD. did you get your EAD?
