Anyone had trouble with fingerprints?
so i went and had my biometrics appointment on Thursday.And a lot of fingerprints were marked as yellow.We tried retaking them couple of times but the lady who was helping me said that there is no point-my fingertips have very thin top layer of skin and the machine can’t read it.she said that if I don’t hear from them within the next 6 weeks-then they went through,otherwise-will have to reschedule.Anyone had a problem like that?what was the outcome?thanks

Next time you are going , incase it didn't go through this time, dip your fingers in cold coke, diet soda or something . let it air dry before you go in for tge fingerprint

I had a similar problem. 8 out of my 10 fingers were yellow/orange. Luckily, 8 days after the biometrics, my status was updated to interview is ready to be scheduled, which means that they the quality was sufficient for FBI background check. Good luck!

If the fingerprints will not be sufficient, you will receive a second biometrics appointment. If even after the second appointment, the quality is not sufficient for FBI, you will move forward with your case and at some point you will be probably asked for a local police clearance letter from all US places where you lived in last 5 years.

same, mine like 7 fingers were yellow/orange. it was taken on 8/20/2021. still no updates (still showing as “finger print fee was received”)
