Anyknow if it means my interview will be waived
update my 485 was approved two weeks after I mailed my medical. the card is sending to me. Brooklyn folks, there is hope! PD 3/26/2021 Brooklyn NY I just received updates on my i130 and it showed that the case was approved. I didn’t submit medical with the package and got a 693 RFE last year. For people who are in Brooklyn and recently got interview waived. Did your i130 show updates before i485? thank you! #brooklyn #485 #interview

@Summa Ly, I have almost the same PD as you, I was told my case is eligible for interview waiver, but I haven’t heard anything back till now. even my I-130 isn’t approved yet. it’s all just frustrating.

@bliss Charles yes and last October, I did ask congresswoman for help. otherwise it would have taken longer.

I have heard some people had their interviews waived but mostly for those who sent medical with their initial application. did your RFE ask you to mail medical to them? or did it say bring to interview? and if it’s the latter, how is it possible to have interview waived without them seeing a medical?!!

@V B I received a medical RFE last year and asked me to bring i693 to the interview then I received another letter last Friday saying I need to send them i693 in one month then they can make a decision on my case.

yes my i-130 changed to approved then a few days later got the rfe to send medical to field office

@summa Ly i got my GC beginning of March ! From delivery of medical to approval took 10 business days.
