I got an update just a couple mins ago on the lawfully app. I got an RFE for my I-485. Anyone know what it would be for? I sent in my medicals when I sent in my package so I’m not sure what else they would need.

@cg it was for not submitting evidence of eligibility for 245i and pay 1,000 penalty fee which my lawyer sent in with my entire package. That’s why im a little confused why they would send me an rfe. Everything was in the package and the 1,000 was also paid off. Not sure what happened. maybe some paperwork got lost in my package?

@C G Interview was short but nice 👍🏼 the officer asked me about supporting docs, birth certificates, and divorce certificate, then she gave me A notice of interview results and… jus waiting for news. it was easier than I expect… good luck for everyone ✌🏼

@ C G yes I had . you receive a “check list” in your the interview notice, 1 month before, actually I had sent all of them in my mail package, but they want to see the originals documents. i realized that she was interested in my joint account, I think it was a good proof as bounafide.

update: I received a RFE this morning about the “marital settlement agreement and parenting plan” between my husband and his ex. I sent them immediately by USCIS online platform. I hope that will be enough for a final decision 🤞🏼

FO Chicago it was kind of quick he didn't ask my husband anything, only asked his full name, date of birth name of our children and that's it. he took his photo and made him sign on a iPad, he didn't take any of our evidence.

hello @lalala mOo ! crazy how we have the same timeline. got married by August 2021 then filed on Nov. 8,2021 concurrently. we just had our interview last June 8 and got the I-130 approval on the spot. now, waiting game for I-485 approval. it says case under review right after the interview. it wasn’t as scary as the horror stories online. very straight forward and we had a sweet lady Officer. no EAD and Advance Parole ever issued..yet! keep us posted! good luck!
