Am at Seattle office also, PD June 2020, been waiting on biometrics appointment, from all the forums I follow our office seems to be the slowest, seeing ppl with even 3 years period between applying and approval.

I am a seattle april'20 filer. still waiting for biometrics, thanks to the slowest field office

@apr'20 Seattle, did you call them because you should be outside of processing time, I called them up to last week indicating am outside the 90 days for appointment they say am still in processing time so it's like the 90 days rule doesn't make sense, smh

@apr’20 seattle, From a facebook group, I saw an April 2020 filer's post about USCIS Seattle office's biometrics news. Refer to the original message (written on Oct 12, 2020) below: "For anyone in the Seattle area I called USCIS today and found out the following regarding biometrics appts : - they said they are starting with April 15 applicants for bio appts. They’ve already scheduled the bio apts with dates and times in the system but the letters haven’t reached the filed office in Seattle so it’s a waiting game at this point . - they were able to give me my bio appt date and time etc even though there hasn’t been any update on my online case status. If you are an April filer like me I urge you to call and ask them when your bio appt is going to be. She said if it’s 5 days before your bio appt and you still haven’t received the actual letter to call them again . "

This is very useful information, thank you! It’s odd to me some people filed in May (Seattle office) received their bio appointments in August while April filers are still waiting.

I saw that too, I even see in other states August applicants getting appointments.

@Jun'20 Seattle, I did call them and they created a service request which may or may not be answered in 15-30 days. if they dont answer in that period, then also you can't do much except getting another request created and waiting further

@Sierra Charlie, thanks for the info. I will check out the group. I keep calling them every week as I have nothing better to do right now:) I called them on Monday and I was just told to wait.

@June'20 Seattle, our 90 days were over on 13th oct, so why did they not create a service request for you the last week? btw, now the hold times have drasticAlly reduced on helpline, so I would say call them again and create a request, if not done already
