S C, I faxed it thru an app on my phone

min co and Jork Mande, I went online thru Emma and typed infopass then asked for agent. when I talked to the agent I inquired if I could get me EAD expedite and they submitted that and two days after they emailed me with the required documents. I faxed the documents today and it was approved right away

@Essa M could you please share what are the required documents for ead expedition. what did they ask for?

The criteria are: 1. Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioners or applicants failure to: a. Timely file the benefit request, or b. Timely respond to any requests for additional evidence; 2. Emergencies and urgent humanitarian reasons; 3. Nonprofit organization (as designated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)) whose request is in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States; 4. U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Labor, DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or 5. Clear USCIS error.

I actually just found out that they approved my advance parole too, so I’m getting a combo card. lawfully didn’t show that but when I logged in and looked under documents I saw that

Salam Aleykoum Essa. i applied about the same time you did amd I am about to send in my request. What is the fax number you used to upload your docs? was your termination letter pretty recent by chance? also wondering if you ever had to contact the congressman?

@Tete Noble waalikum aslam. this is the fax number 802-860-6933. I believe you have to wait for them to tell you where and which fax number to send it to because they asked me to send it to a specific division. yes my termination letter was on 1/1/2023 and no I never reached out to the congressman. I made Duaa and Alhamdulelah it was answered. good luck my friend!

Shukran my friend. I just got off the phone with them and it appears all my cases have been sent to the VAWA unit so I cant get any info online. I will have to mail everything directly and wait to hear back. i know you arent an attorney, but did you ise a template online? I assume you had a cover letter and a letter explaining you reasons for an expedite request?

@Tete Noble I didn’t use any template, just wrote a letter explaining my situation and my previous work experience that’s it. I worked for COVID-19 clinic during my OPT and I think that helped my case a lot.

@Essa M well done. Shrukran for the information. I can see it was very helpful in your case working for the covid unit. Fingers crossed I hope something comes out of my request. Also, how you receive confirmation about they received the fax? do they email you later? Also, how long did it take for them to act on your case?
