Girl I requested and expedite and after a month I got a response. I felt so relieved I open the email and it says “USCIS systems indicate that the receipt number provided in your inquiry belongs to a different applicant or petitioner. Only the person who signed the application/petition, or their legal representative, is authorized to request changes. Therefore, we are unable to respond to your request at this time” I am double checked my case and alien number and everything is my info. It was early in the morning so I called and got someone in like 5 mins. The only thing he said was yeah I checked and you are correct all the information is correct. you received a wrong response you have to wait 7 days and file another inquiry 😑 This is how heartless and careless they are. someone couldn’t bother and just sent me a random email response without even checking my case.

@Alisa, that’s HORRIBLE and I am so sorry that happened. They REALLY need to get their $#!T together. The constant blaming of prior administration & COVID is beyond old. Being competent & having empathy should be a prerequisite in a job such as this!

@Elise I agree with you fully. I’m just letting you know that you’re not alone. Many of us are facing the same issues with them. I’m just try to exercise patience and not let them drive me insane because they’re not going to change.

my case is Oct 14 same office so I'm following yours. it seems like some Aug and Sep cases have been getting approved so God willing we will be soon.

Yea I have submitted a few expidites a few ways. Their hard to get approved. however then I see some who get approved for simple reasons and it is just not fair. none of this is. 😥
