6 month I-129F (K1) approval
I absolutely cannot believe this! I am so excited! Anyone have a clue as to how this was done so fast? Our case was transferred to Vermont like a week ago from California, and it already got approved?!?!

how did you transfer your case to Vermont? do you have to live there
Thomas WApr 7, 2023
@nada abusnoubar honestly I've heard they only take "difficult" cases, like ones where one of the parties has a criminal history
nada aApr 7, 2023
i live in California do you think I can do the same if they approve? Also how did you transfer?
Thomas WApr 7, 2023
@nada abusnoubar it was not our choice. we did nothing to get transferred. USCIS did it on their own and I don't know why
Arturo DoddApr 8, 2023
because it was processed in Vermont
Thomas WApr 8, 2023
@Arturo Zav it just got transferred to Vermont like 1 or 2 weeks ago

@Thomas W hi, did you do biometrics? by the way congratulations
Thomas WApr 28, 2023
@pau j I did biometrics in early March as the sponsor, as requested by USCIS. my fiancee, the beneficiary, did not have to go for biometrics

Im in a similar boat. Went from Cali to Vermont. submitted originally in Aug 22 and transferred to Vermont 1/23. Biometrics i completed last month. i have a criminal record by the way. domestic assault no contact order violations, misdemeanors, totaling 3. hoping like hell they dont use that as a reason to deny
