I apply for my citizenship 3 months before my green card expired and the pandemic got worse I been waiting since September 20 2020 and it has been a year with my green card expired would that bring me problems ?I didn’t renew my green card because it takes 3 months for that whole process but because of the Covid it has been a year and 2 months and I still went to my finger prints with my green card expired but now I’m tryng to get my CDL lícense and the DMV didn’t let me do it because my green cars is expired they told me to get a letter from USCI but my normal license is good can someone give me a opinion or knows about someone that still got their citizenship with the green card expired

I suggest you make an info pass and ask them if can stamp your passport. However, you should renew your card before apply for a citizenship. Not sure if is a problem in your case. But do a info pass asap and request a passport stamp

I apply before the green card of 10 years expire I call them earlier and they told me that between 6 or 7 weeks I should get my interview

I understand. But also, you should renew your GC too. Call tomorrow to uscis explain what happened and make an appointment for stamp your passport.

they told me for me to stamp my passport I need to pay for the 190 form or renew the green card but they told me that in 6 or 7 week I should be getting my interview to waste money because I can’t get that money back

Sorry but I don't think you should believe that. Nowadays, the processing time is being very slowly. I suggest you stamp your passport is better than nothing. Try to waive the fee.
