Confirmation on when to file for citizenship.
Hi Everyone,
I have a question regarding when to file for citizenship. I know joining the military would make it faster.
I’m currently divorced, is it still gonna take 3years after receiving my Green card to file for Citizenship regardless of being married or not or I have to be married to a US citizen to achieve that?

My RFE response date is 10 October 2024. Recently my status got updated to actively reviewing on 10th July.
When do you think I should expect decision?
I heard that if they got late more than 2 weeks to make decision it’s most likely denial.

Did anyone update name on Indian passport (marriage) after Green card was approved?
We received green card this month. my wife is looking to update the last name (marriage name) on the card. I believe for that we have to get the Indian passport updated first..
what should be the sequence of the updates?

My EB1A Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) was transferred to the Brooklyn Field Office NY (Non Local) a little over a month ago, and I haven’t heard anything since. Just wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience — if your EB1A AOS was transferred to Brooklyn, how long did it take to get approved after the transfer?
I’d really appreciate it if you could share your timeline or any insights. Trying to understand what to expect moving forward.
