After filing the Writ of Mandamus on my own, it didn’t take long before USCIS moved on my case. I’m honestly still shocked at how fast things changed once the court got involved. All I paid was the $405 filing fee and a bit for mailing, and now after more than two years of waiting, it’s finally done.
If anyone else is stuck in long delays, don’t lose hope. There is a way forward. I’ll keep sharing updates as my case continues, in case it helps someone going through the same struggle.

How Can I Get Refund After USCIS double payment ?
I submitted my EB2-NIW premium processing petition in June this year, the checks were cashed in July.
Later, I received a rejection notice. After several back and forth, I had to submit my credit card details and my petition this month and it was finally received.
I need assistance with how I can get the refund for my initial payment.
