Hey everyone, looking for some insights from anyone who has filed a Writ of Mandamus for a delayed VAWA case ?. I filed my mandamus in the District of Massachusetts on April 7, 2026. It’s been almost 2 months since the federal filing and my USCIS portal hasn't updated yet. For those who went the mandamus route for VAWA, how long after filing did it take for the U.S. Attorney or USCIS to move your case? Did the government ask for a 30-day extension? Thanks in advance
Any July 2025 EB1A / EB-based I-485 filers still waiting for AOS approval? Starting to feel like we’ve been forgotten. 😔
I filed on July 2, 2025. Biometrics completed same month, no RFE, no interview, medicals submitted with filing, priority date current all along, and case has been pending for over 11 months now.
Is anyone else from the July 2025 filing group still waiting? If so, what’s your current status and field office? Starting to feel like our cases have been forgotten.

I applied before Deferred Action was rescinded, and I thought they would never approve it because of how long it was taking. But after a year and a half of waiting, and even a congressional inquiry that never received a response, it was finally approved. dont loose hope guys…

Seems like USCIS along with DOS is planning on wasting more than half of visas for Eb3 Unskilled.

DOS is just moving the dates, USCIS is slow to catch up, at this rate they’re going to waste more than half visas this year, I guarantee it. At least 5k visas is going down the drains.No way they’re going to utilize 6-7k visas 4 months remaining in this FY.
K1 Timeline
I’m curious about recent K1 visa timelines and wanted to see if anyone has had their case forwarded from the NVC to the embassy recently.
My I-129F petition was approved in February 2026 (Submitted July 2025) and is still currently at NVC. They said that they cannot predict when a case will be forwarded.
That said, how long did it take for NVC to send it to the embassy?
