we both have same pd and field office and my case number is also MSC as well. have you been interviewed or issued rfe before?

can you please specify what question did you ask? because usually agents don’t tend to provide such information.

I hate when people trying to get help on here but gatekeeping what prompts or questions they asked for the answer they need clarification on lol. These kind of posts lead to nowhere, good luck trying to get help when you yourself not willing to help people.

@O J interesting, do you get any updates on your case status? since October 2022 no RFE or interview. I filed medicals together with i485. And of course I completed my biometrics at that time. Then I got case remains pending in 2023 since 2023 no change.

@BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1 i really don't understand what you're so bitter about. If you need clarification of any kind, ask the OP. S/he needed responses to things bothering them and made a post about it. If you feel you need information about what they posted, then ask. Not come here and just attack someone for no just cause. Everyone has something they're passing through, if you can't be nice, then keep it moving.

live agents have written replies I guess just doing copy paste. I gave up, got same answer from 5 different agents.

@Green Bear we are almost in same boat and my case is at SFO too. I received medical RFE and responded already. since you submitted i693 in oct 22 so it’s certainly expired and until there is no valid medical, officer can’t request VISA Number to State Department. it my personal opinion and based on my knowledge

@Green Bear They cannot lie cuz they’re working for gov. I think some agents are not lazy so they won’t copy and paste to answer you.

sep 21 pd. medical rfe sent to ohio field office . no update yet

@Green Bear i found my case was transferred to SF field office through emma . my case status is in CRP since I replied for medical RFE in 2025 from NBC . no recent updates .

@Green Bear hey.. my pd is November 11,2021. same category, MSC case as well. case has been pending since 2023. everything else is approved, medical is expired, no status change or update… I chatted with emma live agent few times on different dates and got same response stating my case is transferred from nbc to LA FO and has already been received, case it under review and nothing outstanding so far, The agent told me My interview is eligible for waiver… Case was received on 6/23… no updates, no rfe… nothing!!!

mine is also in San Francisco FO since 02/06/26 my pd is january 2022. No movement yet

I think, they do the final review first, and only request visa number right before approval.
