physical presence proof for DS-11
Hello everybody I have an important question to ask please answer using your base knowledge cause I am so nervous
I’m 24 years old born abroad out of wedlock and my mother is a U.S. citizenship born in the United States
Last month I tried moving to Canada to get an Asylum from Canada however i was denied due to my mother being a U.S. citizen so technically I’m a US Citizen when I was sent back to the US Custom border the officer told me yes I’m a citizen but my mother needs to provide 1 full year of physical presence in the United States before I was born cause I was before June 2017 and she was not married when I was born in order for me to get my US passport, I was allowed back in the US with my mother.
So this is the important question I have
I found a university Transcript showing my mother name, date of birth, student ID, saying beginning of undergraduate Record fall 1992,spring 1993, fall 1993 showing course, course title, attempted, earned,Grade, and Qty points
So will that be enough proof for showing 1 full year of physical presence for me to apply for my DS-11?
Someone please answer me cause I’m stressing out and nervous

Case Required USCIS To Send A Notice
Hi everyone,
Is anyone else still waiting for the USCIS updates from the last week of September?
I am still waiting on mine (mine is updated on Sep 25th) and wondering what it could be, especially since it seems not everyone has received the same thing on the notice. Any insights or updates from those in a similar position would be appreciated.
Thank you.

has anyone traveled with a passport in maiden name and gc in new name?
I am planning a trip to Brazil so that my kids can finally meet their grandmother(my mom) in February. My passport has my maiden name and my green card has my married name. I’m running into issues to get a new Brazilian passport due to some laws that have passed. I wouldn’t be able to get it before February. Has anyone traveled with their passport in their maiden name? I haven’t used my green card before and I’m so afraid of being denied entry, especially because my children will be with me. I have proof of marriage as that shows my name change but just seeing if anyone has had a similar experience.#maidenname #reentry
asylum letter
Hello, my husband is the principal applicant on our asylum petition. We had our interview in April 2025, but there is no decision yet. Today, I saw an email notification that a letter addressed to me is arriving from the asylum office where we had our interview. What could it be? Is anyone else in the same situation?
