U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicate that this case is pending at this time at the Local Field Office. As a part of a greater eligibility determination, USCIS conducts background and security checks on applicants and certain petitioners for immigration benefits. These checks are necessary to ensure United States national security and public safety interests. In some cases, the results of these checks require USCIS to perform additional inquiries or consult with other government agencies. When this is necessary, there is often some delay in resolving the checks, and it is difficult to predict when resolution will be completed. Once all checks are resolved, the application will be reviewed. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. USCIS will contact your constituent directly when the review is completed or if we require additional information. Please know that this application is in queue and has not been overlooked. We understand that your constituent may be frustrated by the progress of his case. However, USCIS must balance individual inconvenience against broader issues of public safety and national security.

Nothing will rise to disturb our peace, and no scheme of the enemy will prosper. Everywhere our names are spoken today and onwards favour will respond. Every decision we make will produce results. What was blocked or delayed in the past will now move freely. No setback, no disappointment, no hindrance will find us. Our strength will not fade, our joy will not diminish, and our hands will not grow weary. What God has prepared for us this week will reach us without struggle.
