anyone waiting for oath ceremony in Houston,, does it take around 30 days or more for the notice to be mailed?

This is my entire timeline and hope it could be helpful to anyone in a similar circumstance. Long story short, married to a US veteran Started woking right after recieving work permit approval after almost a month after 2nd anniversary, and a year and a month after being interviewed i-130,i-485 approved i-485 approved for permenant residence no rfes no action taken since the interview means we did not submit any requests regarding why the case was being delayed. Interview was for both cases Attorney was present but we did not have an interpreter with us. it was mostly about my yes/no questions(almsot all of them) and for our relationship there were less than 5 in my memory mostly asked to my husband. Recalling it lasted less than 20 mins. not from one of the banned/restricted countries Thank you this community, it's been really helpful to me while I was so anxious and frustrated and when I was going through a lot of questions. Now it's your turn to finish this immigration journey and have a wonderful life here with the ones you love and care, and with the ones who love and care back. renovation work permit

I have 44 month my vawa case and i485 pending on June 2027 my work permit will expired my lawyer told me just 6 month before I can renew but I listens that no any more extension automatically I’m afraid to wait like the last time I renewed; it took eight months for the permit to arrive. Do you have any idea how I could get it done faster? I stil have a year but you know days running quickly

I485 stuck at “No visa availibity” since Sep 2024 with no updates while current all the time. not from banned country. any suggestion how to move the case? congressional enquiry and service request resulted in generic response. no help

My case status updated yesterday to Case is being processed from 2 years being recieved and receipt notice was sent. Could they possibly approve the GC without interview or RFE? Has anyone been through this before?

I485 applications were filed by me and my wife in September 2025,,,our interviews have been waived,files moved to Field office and the cases are in process (as inquired via Emma on August 6th 2026)

Just saw this update and am freaking out. I attended my interview on August 4th and then received this update. Interview cancelled and notice ordered. what does this mean? Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered On August 5, 2026, we cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number ……, and mailed you a cancellation notice. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you. Please follow any instructions in the notice. I want to know when they scheduled interviews it’s update in app too or they just send the notice I want to change my address is it good? as my case in local field office fresno in the que of interview

Biometrics Done, Not showing in portal

I had my biometrics on June 17th and it didn't show in my my USCIS portal, just got the the notice in the mail. After the biometrics, it is yet to reflect that it's been done in my portal. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Has anyone here filed a mandamus lawsuit for a VAWA I-360 that had been pending for more than three years?

If so, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience: * How long had your I-360 been pending when you filed? * How long after filing the mandamus did USCIS take action? * Did the government fight the case, or was it resolved quickly? * Would you recommend filing, or do you wish you had waited longer? Its been 1274 days since I filed I360. around 3.5 years.

I485 online filing

I am planning to file I485 petition online. Do I need to shbmit my tax transcripts with the application? Also do I need to submit the same documents multiple times in different sections?

been 3 months since my nats case interview was done the ceremony been delayed for that long.. they said I’ve been placed in line for the ceremony but that’s since early May.. why such long delay ?
