Greencard Approved after Vawa Approved and I485 interview
My vawa was approved July 2025, had my greencard interview last week and received my greencard yesterday. My lawyer told me I would be asked i485 eligibility questions only but my interview lasted about 2 hours. Questions I can remember are: how many times I have been married?, date of first divorce, date of last arrival into the States, date I met my second husband, explain how you met how long it took for us to start dating, when did he propose, what day, explain the event of the proposal, how did he propose, wedding planning. when did we start to live together, who attended our wedding, what are their names, when did the abuse start, did you try to reconcile, are you still married ? date of divorce, how did you hear about vawa. then we went over my i485. I updated some info. Wishing you all the best everyone
I give God all the glory. when they ask for dates, the officer said they need specific that is month,date, year. I remembered all the answers from personal event memory. the only question I could not answer right was date of first divorce which I remembered the month and year but not the specific day and I told the officer i could not remember the specific day. please note, I was not asked to detail the abuse I went through, as my vawa was approved but was asked when the abuse started. I went with a lawyer . my lawyer was very nice to the officer and gently reminded her a few times I have vawa approved. Thanks everyone

The Visa Bulletin has been released, and the Final Action Date has retrogressed to January 2022. What do you think this means for those of us with February 2022 priority dates who have already been asked to submit our medical exams? Will our cases be put on hold again until our priority dates become current? 😓
Anyone I-130 got appproved from filers July 2025?
Has anyone I-130 or knows anyone that filed July 2025 had their case approved?
I haven’t heard nothing since submitting mine. I was thing of doing a writ of mandamus, however I want to here from anyone on here if their has been success.

hi people this is my last post here in this community, just received my green card today and I am going to start a new cycle in my life,
During 4 years 6 months and 17 days I checked this app at least 3 times a day sometimes more than it, and what is insane despite I already have my green card in hands I keep checking the app, and after think about what is happening with me I concluded that, even though I don’t know anyone here personally I’ve formed a connection with the situation each of us is going through.
It reminded me of the movie
*The Shawshank Redemption*,
where, even after one of the prisoners was granted parole, he failed to adapt to the new life awaiting him outside the prison walls. and I realized that this app is being my wall for years and I need to break it down
I send a big hug to you all, and I am rooting for each of your cases to be approved as quickly as possible; I hope you all remain strong, resilient, and—above all—adaptable to the nuances and ups and downs that the legalization process imposes on each of us.

Olá, pessoal. Esta é a minha última postagem nesta comunidade; acabei de receber meu *Green Card* hoje e vou iniciar um novo ciclo em minha vida.
Durante 4 anos, 6 meses e 17 dias, verifiquei este aplicativo pelo menos três vezes ao dia — às vezes, até mais. O mais curioso é que, mesmo já estando com o *Green Card* em mãos, continuo checando o aplicativo. Refletindo sobre isso, percebi que, embora eu não conheça ninguém aqui pessoalmente, criei um vínculo com a situação que cada um de nós está vivenciando.
Isso me lembrou do filme
*Um Sonho de Liberdade* (The Shawshank Redemption),
no qual um dos prisioneiros, mesmo após obter a liberdade condicional, não conseguiu se adaptar à nova vida que o aguardava fora dos muros da prisão. Percebi que este aplicativo tem sido o meu "muro" durante anos e que preciso derrubá-lo.
Deixo um grande abraço a todos e torço para que os casos de cada um de vocês sejam aprovados o mais rápido possível; espero que todos se mantenham fortes, resilientes e — acima de tudo — capazes de se adaptar às nuances e aos altos e baixos que o processo de regularização impõe a cada um.

Well is not "the uscis required to send a notice" that gets me but the 4,600 days more that is written that is needed for the gc approval based on this notice 🤣 (mind me I waited already 4,5 years for my approved vawa) , i485 filed concurrenttly. Can you guys see it I have premium and see it. It surely must be mistake of the system.

About a month ago, we had major batch update on I485J, uscis created another receipt for your I485J with IOE barcode.
Case Administratively Closed
On August 25, 2026, we administratively closed your Form I-485J, Confirmation of Bona Fide Job Offer or Request for Job Portability Under INA Section 204(j), Receipt Number IOE….., and mailed you a notice explaining why your case was closed. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your closure notice by September 24, 2026, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Has anyone received this notice in mail? or has anyone submitted a request a copy of this notice after Sep 24?

Finally, my green card has been approved! 🎉
After a very long and stressful journey, I finally received the approval for my I-485. My asylum was granted in 2023, and I filed my I-485 in January 2025. After many months of waiting, updates, and uncertainty, I finally had my interview on September 22, 2026.
The interview went well, and now my case has finally been approved! 🙏🇺🇸
To everyone who is still waiting—please stay patient and keep faith. I know how stressful the waiting can be, but hopefully your good news will come soon too.

Has anyone been approved quickly for I-751? I am Canadian and have a very real marriage with lots of evidence.
Hi, I am applying to remove conditions tomorrow. My husband and I have been married 3 years now, own a home and cottage together, on am on his life endurance, we got an affidavit from the person who married us saying we are still together, and lots of photos.
I am curious how many people are being approved quickly? I know many people wait a very long time. I am fine with that as I will apply for citizenship the first day I am able to.
I feel bad for people waiting a long time as I feel many people are being judged based off of where they are from. It is a stressful time for many people.
My field office is Detroit. From my understanding, NBC can waive the interview. If not waived, it goes to a field office. I was not interviewed for my AOS.

I-485 Reviewed Multiple Times + Transferred to Sacramento — Good Sign?
My I-485 was at the Queens, NY Field Office for about 4+ months. An officer reviewed it on August 4, then again on September 10. On September 17, the case was transferred to the Sacramento Field Office, where I live, and an officer reviewed it again on September 24.
Then, on September 26, my underlying asylum case (not the I-485) was updated to “Decision Was Mailed” dated September 16, even though the asylum was already approved in November 2023.
Could these recent reviews, the transfer to Sacramento, and the update on the old asylum case mean anything positive or be a good sign?
Has anyone experienced something similar?
