Advice needed pls
Good day, everyone.
USCIS has asked my mum to submit the following evidence for her VAWA application:
1. Evidence that she was or is legally married to the alleged abuser.
2. Evidence that the alleged abuser is or was a lawful permanent resident or U.S. citizen.
3. Evidence that she qualifies for VAWA classification.
4. Evidence that she and the alleged abuser lived together.
5. Evidence that she or her children experienced battery or extreme cruelty perpetrated by the alleged abuser.
6. Evidence of good moral character, including police clearances from every locality where she has lived for at least six months within the past three years.
7. Evidence that she entered the marriage in good faith.
My concern is that she has previously submitted some of these documents with her application.
Does this mean USCIS needs them again, or were the documents she initially submitted considered insufficient?
Is it okay to resubmit the same documents, or should she provide entirely new evidence?
I would really appreciate any advice or guidance from anyone who has experienced a similar situation.

interview
Hello everyone, I have a family reunification application and my husband is an American citizen. An appointment was scheduled for me last March, but it was canceled by the embassy due to security conditions and the embassy's closure. A new appointment has not been sent by the embassy until now, and I am pregnant with my first child. Is pregnancy a reason to request the embassy to expedite the appointment for the interview?
After Interview RFE
Hello everyone. I filed a mandamus lawsuit in July, and I was called for an interview on October 15th. The interview went well, but the supervisor issued an RFE (Request for Evidence) asking for a "favorable exercise of discretion." Last Friday, I submitted the requested documents—including letters of recommendation written on my behalf by 15 U.S. citizens, my tax returns, and several personal statements. Does anyone have any experience with this? How long does it typically take to get a decision after responding to such an RFE?

Update on My Adjustment of Status Case with USCIS
Yesterday, October 30, I completed my adjustment of status interview at the USCIS Dallas Field Office in Texas.
The interview has concluded; however, my application remains pending adjudication, as USCIS has not yet issued a decision.
In connection with my federal Mandamus lawsuit, the Government was granted an extension until November 13, 2026, to adjudicate my application or file an appropriate response with the Federal Court.
I now await an official decision.
