Finally Approved
It took a while but it’s finally approved and a day before my birthday!!! I’m so happy. I had contacted the ombudsman on October 7 and they emailed me on October 19 that they reviewed my case and contacted uscis on my behalf. I’m pretty sure my approval was as a result of their intervention. If your case is at least 2 months past the posted processing time and you’ve exercised all other contact channels with uscis without any response I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I-130 for my Daughter approved, what next?
just got an approval notice for my daughters I-130! At least some positivity finally. Although, we filed hers on Dec 2020 and filed her AOS in April 2021. My question is, what does the approved I-130 do for her now? and how does it impact her I-485? (btw she is 1 year old so not sure if she will even have an interview)

I am quite surprised. my RFE was submitted one day prior to approval! really thought it would be a few months out. just goes to show we have no way of guessing how USCIS does their processing.

Green Card approved / Nashville, TN
We had our interview yesterday and got approved on the spot. Status changed to New Card Is Being Produced later that day. The officer asked us basic questions like when are each other’s birthdays, what is my wife’s maiden name, when did we get married, where did we get married, who proposed and how. At the end she said that she believes that is has to be a honest marriage when you travel the world with your spouse. We had a lot of evidence about that because prior to being in the US we lived in China and Germany together.

hi my lawfully family. im just wondering if there’s someone in here with the same experience as mine. we received our greencard and went to ssn to change our status. my husband and daughter received their snn in 1 week but me not. i called and they said its flag and still verifying it in USCIS. any idea how long it takes? thank you those who will give me answer for this.
